He poses as an artists and attempts to sell paintings which based on the testimony of another party, is not legitimate. In other words, this man supposedly uses graphic art software to create his paintings rather than doing them free hand. Anyone buying these fake paintings are not only getting ripped-off but they are supporting someone who enjoys stalking and harassing someone with a disability.
Fuck you. I've dedicated my life to Art, and had my first show at 14, in 1975. Was that done with computer software? Did computer software get me my Master's in Fine Art, or put my paintings on five continents?
Anyway, it goes on like that. Like everything this person writes, she just makes it up as she goes along. And why did she file this report anyway? It's on a site that purports to expose dishonest businesses. My site is non-commercial, and I've never had any business transactions with Noel. Hell, she couldn't possibly afford me. She did it for one reason, and one reason only. As an attempt to hurt me, and my reputation. Fortunately, like her, it was a total and complete failure.

So, Noel, again I offered you a way out. Tell the truth for ONCE, and take all that shit down, and I'd take this site down. You posted two blog posts full of lies instead. Rest assured I'll never make the offer again, and now I move on to the next phase.
The laws have changed since you started this shit, Noel. In 2000 I had little recourse. That's no longer true.

Sorry didn't read through all of this-maybe I missed something: I was wondering if you exhausted all legal recourse in an effort to discourage NAB from further engagement. If not, is to poor laws or an expensive proposition. It looks like your actions have likely been reasonably exhaustive. As much as you might not like it to be a case study on how reasonably disengage from a persistent ghoul, I think it is. And if it were to work, then it would be useful for others to examine if they are caught in a similarly annoying situation. Thanks for sharing though I have no doubt that it is something that you would rather not have in your life.

ReplyDeleteYears ago I was in fairly regular contact with a couple of Detectives in her area, but they were hampered by the law, as it hadn't really caught up to the technology. They had tough laws against stalking, harassment and such, but they didn't apply to the internet. That's changed now. They now have tough laws in her state written specifically for the internet, so it may be time to re-establish that contact.
As for discouraging her - that doesn't seem like a possibility. She's been harassing people since she first had an internet connection, and before that in real life. She lives for this shit, and what's more, feels justified in doing it. IN her mind (such as it is) she harasses someone, and if they stand up to her or fight back against her, it makes her the victim.
